Description of Action |
|
As required by Florida Statutes, the Administration has prepared a Request For Proposal (RFP) for qualified Certified Public Accounting firms to provide annual financial auditing services and assistance in preparation of the City’s CAFR. The RFP provides for an initial 3-year audit term and an available 2-year extension. Evaluation of responses include auditor qualifications, experience, references, use and acceptance of automated financial files and their proposal for annual cost. A general time-frame is also included with evaluation and Commission selection planned in August. |

The City’s present auditor, Keefe McCullough, proposed an annual base audit cost of $54,000 plus $5,000 for combined Federal & State Single Audit requirements. |
